Fair500 · Effective 8 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Fair500 ("we," "us") handles information when you visit fair500.com (the "Site"). Fair500 is an informational data visualization built from public U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. We aim to collect as little as possible about you.
Fair500 is a static website. We do not ask for, or directly collect, personal information. There are no accounts, sign-ups, or contact forms. We do not run our own analytics or tracking.
Like most websites, our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) and our advertising partner may automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you view. This is used to serve and secure the Site and to display advertising.
Fair500 is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. To show ads, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies. Specifically:
For more on how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's Partner Sites policy.
Where required by law, Fair500 uses Google's certified Consent Management Platform to ask for your consent before personalized advertising cookies are used. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other covered regions are shown a consent prompt where you can accept or manage your choices; if you do not consent, you will still see the Site with non-personalized ads. You can revisit or change your choices at any time through that prompt, and you can further limit personalized advertising using the opt-out links above.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. Because Fair500 does not collect or hold personal data itself, most such requests relating to advertising data should be directed to Google as the advertising provider. You may also contact us using the details below.
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Fair500 does not sell personal information for money. The use of advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" under California law; you can opt out through the consent prompt where offered and via the advertising opt-out links above.
Fair500 is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We do not retain personal data. Any technical or advertising data collected by our hosting and advertising partners is retained according to their own policies.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
